SEAP’s target

SEAP’s target – Sustainable Energy Action Plan is to make locally specified settlement-level/ city-level energy strategies and to increase supply security and competitiveness by proposing guidelines for a sustainable energy system. The three main actions for this purpose are increasing the energy efficiency, identifying and setting  the minimum energy demand and covering it with renewables as much as possible.

SEAP’s target and tools:

– Energy Efficiency
– Solar energy
– Wind energy
– Electric cars
– Sustainable mobility
– Clean technology
– Recycling
– Environmental awareness
– Sustainable / Smart city
– Sustainable energy supply

To achieve SEAP’s target the involvement of population is especially important as emissions are mostly determined by consumer habits. Therefore, society also needs to play an active role in forming future energy systems.
